This pediatric care project, completed during my sophomore Healthcare Studio, reimagines a children’s medical office as a calm, playful, and supportive environment. Being given a building with which the exterior walls, windows and doors were not to be touched I created an interior layout that is open and encourages easy movement and reduces stress. Inspired by a “neighborhood” or “playhouse” theme, the design features rooms that resemble small houses, scaled for kids and inviting for families.
